lets people know what is happening in the entertainment world
in South Florida, topics such as:

Are all covered in a multicultural fashion. What is meant by
multicultural is that Miami Hoy has young group of talented
reporters from different parts of Latin America, from countries
such as: Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Nicaragua, Argentina,
giving the show the real look of South Florida, a melting pot
of different Latin Cultures. In addition, what makes "Miami
Hoy" interesting is its fresh and avanguard look, mixing
the visual effects, fast paced editing, and camera movement.
The presentations are taped at a designated location, each program
contains five segments these segments are four minutes long,
and are conducted by different reporters. |
Erick
Clavijo, Producer/Director of Miami Hoy entertainment show,
is a visionary. With over 10 years of experience producing,
directing and shooting television shows and commercials, Erick
brings a Wealth of knowledge of the television and entertainment
industry and fresh ideas to The Spanish entertainment industry.
His work includes producing and directing the weekly Entertainment
shows "Al Ritmo de Miavision", "Miami Hoy"
the documentary show "Biografias Hispanas", and promotional
and commercial spots, as well as directing a live half hour
news cast.
Erick began his career in 1994 producing and directing corporate
videos such as Barnett Bank’s Second Annual Teller Recognition
Night; and collaborating with Coral Pictures, Praxis, and Radio
Caracas to produce the televised Hawaiian Tropic’s International
Pageant.
He also worked for the award winning TV Station, WSVN Channel
7 of Miami. Erick received professional training at Florida
International University’s prestigious School of Journalism
and completed an Associate in Science degree in Radio/Television
Broadcast and Theater from Miami-Dade Community College.
Certified as an active member of The National Academy Television
Arts and Sciences, Erick continues to reach for the stars, with
his eye on the future of Hispanic television and his finger
of the pulse of a flourishing market, his vision for Miami Hispanic
Television is clear- to create quality bi-cultural Hispanic
